Laptop tote buying guide
Measure your laptop’s width, depth and thickness, including its sleeve. Compare those measurements with the usable laptop compartment, then check the closure, carrying comfort and space left for your daily essentials.
Laptop fit
Screen size is a diagonal measurement, not the device’s width. Two laptops with the same screen size can need different compartments. Ask for internal measurements if they are missing.
Protection
A roomy tote does not automatically have laptop padding. Look for a dedicated padded compartment, or use a protective sleeve that fits comfortably inside.
Your daily load
Allow space for the charger, documents and water bottle. Keep liquids separate from electronics and check whether pockets hold your essentials securely.
